Miami so far is turning out to be a whole lot more interesting than I expected plus the weather is warm. Basically the only thing I knew before arriving was that local politics was dominated by right wing Cuban exiles, turns out there is a lot more going on including an an anarchist movement that is small but getting itself organised. Hopefully I’ll have the time to do some interviews and maybe write stuff up in more detail. The flight in was interesting as a storm meant we diverted out over the Caribbean, far enough to glimpse Cuba in the distance. I took a couple of photos on the way down, the second shows the way the water was dealt with when they built on the swamps.
